The small badger continued flying about, practicing her turns and speed. She didn't dare go too fast, though. Knowing that there were a lot of first years in the sky as well. She remembered her first lesson well and though it had been EPIC, it could also be a little scary. The last thing she wanted to do was knock an unsuspecting ickle firsty out of the sky. MEEP. That would be horrible.

As she headed towards the center of the pitch again, Ells suddenly noticed that she had a friend. Erm...well not really a friend, more like a pest. Sitting on her leg was a bee...A BEE. >.< Wasn't it a little late for bees to be out and about? I mean...didn't they like go hang in their bee hives and party for a while before they came out again to torment everyone? Apparently not, seeing as there was a fuzzy buzzy fellow just dying to sting Ells. Or so she assumed.

Squirm. Squirm. Squirm.

"Okay little bee, time to get off...just erm...go away please."

Yup. Ella Bishop the bee whisperer. Totally legit.

She made her way through all of the students looking for the ones clad in yellow. They shouldn't be too hard to find considering that they couldn't possibly be doing that well. She decided that for the best results she should fly a bit lower. Making her way across the pitch she found her puffer number one! She got close to her and yelled "DUCK!!!!" Lucky that one is! She zoomed off in search for another puffball.

Em’s ears perked up when she heard Vindictus give more instructions. This was just great. They were already supposed to be mounting their brooms and taking off, and she hadn’t even gotten her broom to rise. Forget it. She mumbled to herself, and reached down and grabbed the broom off of the ground. Swinging the broom under her legs, she placed her right hand over the left, and then switched them, to see which hold she liked better. So, push of of the ground? How was she to do that? The only thing she knew to do was to hop, and that’s what she did. She was entirely unsurprised when she landed right back on the ground.

She was off again going as fast as she could on a mission to find just the perfect hufflepuff. Ugh! Hannah you will never find a puffer at this speed, she scolded herself silently. You had to get on their level! Yes, yes...she had a plan. She slowed herself down with a slight forward tug on her broom. Then she spotted one on the ground...couldn't even fly! This one had to be a seventh year too by her size. Merlin! Puffers didn't even get better with age. She zoomed down to the girls level and screeched "DUUUUCK!" She sooo wasn't going to waste the good one on this duffer!

SPOILER!!: hpluvr037
At a fixed point in midair, Logan Mancini gazed left and right, simply taking in the view. He had never been allowed this high into the air before, since he most likely would have just fallen over a railing or something. The longer he sat there, the more he liked it. But soon he wasn't content to simply sit...

Leaning forward slightly, he felt his broom begin to accelerate. He sat back up without pulling on his broom handle so he could maintain a constant, gentle pace. Alert for traffic, he started to lean left and right while nudging the broom in the proper direction. In this manner he traced out a zig-zag path through the air for several minutes. "Hey, I think I'm beginning to get the hang of this flying thing!"

Would his mum kill him if he tried out for Quidditch? Probably. Was he still considering it? Definitely.

Hannah leaned down on her broom and shot up once more. She was in search for the lucky puffer. Who's it going to be. She zigged and zagged her way around other students until she found one. THE ONE! It was a boy too. Goodie! She zoomed over to him and hollered "PUUUFFFER!" and followed it up with a quick boop to the head. Nothing too hard of course. She hoped the puffer caught on to what she was doing. Afterall she totally wasn't being evil or anything. She was just playing with them. Honest! She was helping them fly if anything. Surely the professor would get that. Sometimes life threw your curveballs and you should always be quick to act on your feet or broom rather. She was making him a better flier for crying out loud. Professor Vindy would get that! Totally!!!

She sat there comfortably at this level. It would hurt if she fell from here, she knew that from experience, but she had done it several times. She also knew that she should break anything, unless she was very, very unlucky. Carefully, very carefully, she allowed herself to speed up. She was now moving as fast as she would if she were jogging. Though her knuckles were white from gripping so hard, she was gradually getting accustomed to the speed, and was about to speed up when someone zoomed by her fast, yelling for her to duck. She jumped, and felt her broom start to roll. Crossing her ankles, she kept her grip tight, and managed to hold on even as she was turned upside down. Her sore ankle couldn’t take it though, and her legs slipped and swung towards the ground. The girl’s feet were now just a couple of inches off of the ground, so let go of the broom. That decision ended up being a big mistake because she landed hard on her injured ankle, fell to the ground in pain, and the broom fell out of the air and hit her on the head. "Seriously?!" she yelled, holding back tears. Just when she was getting a little confidence on a broom this had to happen.
