So it seems like it wasn’t enough that he had the misfortune of having a bothersome splinter but also laden with an unreliable broom. He looked to the left then to the right of him, as if that would actually improve his luck of getting off the ground.
”Come on… FLY!” he grumbled.

They had a great big field, but as soon as she got to the other side, she'd have to turn around and come back. Vivi dipped down when she spotted poor Vickers just... standing there. He looked so MUCH like he wanted to not be standing there anymore, and since she knew how lovely it was to be up and how sad it was to be DOWN... maybe she felt some pang generally in the region of her heart. Maybe.
"Up. Come up now. Now now now." Bossy girls were the bestest.
His gaze shifted up to Vivi and her
obedient broom, trying not to feel jealous with the ease she was having with this lesson.
"My broom.... its a bit of a diva..." he quipped, shrugging casually as if this was totally expected. Quickly shifting his eyes downward he hiss under his breath
"Stop being difficult and get going n-- "
... and he was airborne.
He gripped the shaft
painfully to steady himself as the broom began to level off around the same height as Vivi's
"Huh... responds better to a girl's voice. 'Should've guessed." he muttered as he floated along side the blonde.
"Thanks." he added with a quick nod and a thankful grin. Now if he could get the broom to follow
him....
