Back to listening.
He was surprised at first when Legend spoke up but realizing his fellow YATI hadn't heard the question right. He was listing the people he DID know instead of responding that he didn't know anyone. Come to think of it, Emily had before that. Geez people....pay attention to whats being asked. He inwardly sighed, thinking of it only confusing the situation.
The former Gryffindor hadn't noticed his friend's arrival into the area at first, the food garnering attention from many of the employees. Not to mention Simon was doing his best to do his job, even though what was currently being discussed didn't pertain to him at the moment. However eventually his gaze started to wander off around them, paying more attention to their surroundings. It was then he noticed the familiar face off a short distance.
Right...attention to work...they are still at work or well he and his fellow workers were. Even when most of those around them werent.
Simon was about to turn fully back to Jax when something about Kyle's behavior seemed off. Sure he didn't know EVERY thing about her but he'd spent enough time around the clutzy former Ravenclaw to know a thing or two. And Kyle being off sent up red flags. Without even thinking much on it ...he got up from his seat and trying to not disturb his coworkers, slowly crossed towards her. "Kyle?" Eww...what was that? Was she sick?
Simon crossed the last few steps and come up beside her now fully concerned. "Kyle...what's wrong?" The drooling girl did not feel good at all and now there was someone talking to her. She was embarassed to say the least as she picked up a centerpiece of the table - sure it had flowers in it. But maintenance didn't have to know that she was the one who dumped it right.
Flipping the vase over the water and the flowers fell onto the table taking the empty vase up to her chin she let the excessive amount of drool just spill into the vase. She needed more vases. She just needed to get the heck out of dodge before things all went wrong.
Kyle tried to smile but it just looked like she had missed her mouth with a cup of water. "I..." she trailed off a bit "thont...." why wouldn't this darn drool just STOP? She was mad at the drool, MAD at it. She wanted it to dry up and just leave her alone. Whatever it was - whatever had caused it should be cursed by Merlin and his ancestors for all eternity. "gnow" yeah that didn't sound like a word.
Sitting down on the table she put her forehead on the table. The vase seemed to be FILLED with drool already. She groaned - but it only made a gurgling sound. "I feel sick" she whined and taking her wand she summoned a white board and a dry erase board. What's wrong is I CAN'T STOP DROOLING. She pointed to the words and groaned loudly and began to write again. I feel really sick...can you grab me a bucket? A really BIG bucket for all the drool?
