Hm? Oh. Yeah. The train. "Crazy" seemed like an understatement, but she nodded anyway. "You too." That she was glad to see he too was alright, that is. She might be sorta upset with him right now, but she still wouldn't have been happy if he'd gotten hurt or something. She wasn't THAT upset with him. He definitely would have known if she was, because she probably wouldn't be talking to him at all, and she certainly wouldn't share Eggbert with him anymore.
Anyway, as for playing mini golf... "I don't have anyone to play with." And she didn't feel like playing by herself. That probably should have been expected, yeah? Eggs didn't do much. They could just... roll. But if Eggbert had been in the box the whole time, he had probably just been in the box. Nothing exciting. But at least he was safe. What horrible parents he and Penelope would be if they let their egg get smashed.
She didn't have anyone to play with? Jake stared at Penelope for a second before shaking his head. "Rubbish. That's what I'm here for!" Did she really expect him to not want to come all the way down here and not play? "You remember how to play, right?" He asked with a small smirk. He had worked so hard on teaching her how to golf over the summer... so she had better remember. Heh. |
