The Slytherin was mostly not seen in the library for he'd rather go outside and play. But now with the duck pond gone he didn't feel like going out. Each time he did get on the grounds he felt sad and a bit angry as well. He was still annoyed that the new Groundskeeper had removed the pond and he had made a mental note that he was going to stop by for a visit some day.

Another reason why he was inside and reading a school book was because of his O.W.L's . He knew it was still early to start studying but the fifth year knew that if he did not begin early, he would not make it... He jumped slightly as two youngers students began to yell at each other in greeting and gave them a quick glare before continuing to read.
A bit annoyed by the fact that people kept interrupting her at the Courtyard while she was reading, Gwen was heading back to the library, since that seemed to be one of the few quiet places around. That day just wasn’t one of the best. She was still feeling a bit dizzy after the conversation she had with her friend not long ago, a bit disappointed of herself that she still hadn’t been able to crack that code in which the diary that Ari gave to her was written, and to top it all, one of her housemates had just asked her to be sympathetic. Hmph.

So, with 'Potions élaboré' in her hands, the fifth year made her way to the library, and, more precisely, to the stained glass windows. Even though she had a few books in mind which she should start reading, in order to prepare for OWLs, Gwen decided to spend some time reading something that she actually liked. She knew she had to start studying for Divination, because let’s face it… that seemed to be her very worst subject. She most certainly didn’t posses the inner eye.

As soon as she got closer to the part of the library with the stained glass windows, the Ravenclaw went straight to one of the seats, not minding to look around at who else was already sitting in the room. Before opening the Potions book she was holding, the fifth year noticed someone familiar sitting on one of the chairs, not far away. 'Seriously...?',Gwen raised an eyebrow at all the books he was holding. And she thought she was exaggerating with OWLs.
