Kurumi noticed Logan in the lesson and somehow managed to offer him a small wave and a faint smile. She liked the little Puff, a lot, despite having only met him briefly on the platform and the train. She could just tell from the look in his eyes that he was expecting to learn from her...
...good luck with that. Kurumi would be lucky if she could get more than ten feet off the ground this lesson.
So much for being the role model.... >_________<

"Place your left hand over the broom and in a firm, steady voice, say 'Up!'." Vindictus knew that some students would have some difficulty with the most basic task. Wait...there were reliable and UNreliable brooms in this lesson?! Or was he just being coy? Please tell her that he was just being funny...Kurumi really couldn't handle a broom that was...unreliable. Not that she could really handle ANY broom at the moment. Not unless that broom was used for sweeping that is.
Placing a hand
reluctantly over her broom Kurumi opened her mouth to speak but no words came out. No sound even came out. Instead it just hung there wide open for a dragon to fly in to should it so desire. And her arms were still itchy...so she paused for a moment to deal with them before putting her arm back out again. ".
...........up........" she squeaked this time.
Only nothing happened. Er.....could she go back to the dormitories now, please?

Hand still hovering over the handle of her broom, Kurumi caught the first year's look and words and bit down hard on her lower lip while the color rose in her cheeks just a little. "
I-I-I'm fine...." she said while shaking her head back and forth to indicate that she wasn't. Mixed signals much?
By now her nerve induced rash had spread a bit up to her shoulders and would soon be showing around the collar of her uniform. It really was ridiculous how she got when flying or Quidditch was involved. Not to mention downright embarrassing....THANKS SELINA!
The former-and-never-to-be-again-Seeker held her hand over the handle a little more firmly this time and tried to muster a bit more Gryffindor courage. "
...up..." This time the broom moved towards her...at a snail's pace...but it was still moving upwards so at least that was something.
