She hadn't really thought about going to that compartment, honestly, since she'd gotten on the train with Anya this time, instead of alone. There were adults there though? "Well, the Headmistress was on the train." She'd yelled at them all to sit down and stuff. "Guess it makes sense she'd sit with the prefects." And those other adults too whose names she didn't remember.
"She has nice hair, the headmistress lady." Like fire hair. West made this observation matter-of-factly. He hadn't learned about crazy redheads yet. Only time would tell.
"Are you gonna be one, do you think?" A prefect, he meant. And then,
"Your name is Penelope right? Its real long. Is there something shorter you like?" Or he could make one up. Lop. Loppy. Those would be good.
