It took Melanie a while to get to the place where the lesson was being held. It really wasn't easy with all the moving staircases but she had made it! Melanie could see the green just before her as she jogged over, hoping she wasn't late. Her hair swung back and forth in its ponytail as she did so. She wasn't late, right? The fourth year was just about to reach the professor before tripping over her shoelaces which had become untied when Melanie put them on in a hurry.
Embarrassed and quite red in the face the girl quickly pulled herself up from the ground. "Hello professor," Melanie managed to say. She quickly scampered over to join the rest of the students. It hadn't been that embarrassing had it? People's eyes hadn't all been on her right?
Staying quiet the girl bent down to tie her shoelaces, double knotting them, before standing back up, willing her cheeks to stop being so red.
