Hutchinson? What was wrong with just 'Spike'? He might not be super close to the new Quidditch Captain, but they had played together last year. Enough to be on friendly first name terms, surely?
Heh, whatever.
"Well, enjoy it while you can,
Shacklebolt," he said with a smirk. Because that was SPIKE'S usual chair.

When he pursed his glorious lips did he expect girls to swoon? Addy tilted her head to one side and watched him for a few moments. "But that one is mine. I spent the vast majority of last term in THAT chair. Reading and studying." Really how could anyone have missed her there? Flaming red hair, book attached to hand, lots of blushing when people spoke to her.
"And yes, I was kidding about the visitation schedule. It was a joke. HAR HAR. Are all of you Brits so serious all the time?" GAWD. She would tickle him if he didn't lighten up. Heh.
"It is," Spike said with a nod to the girl. Very lovely indeed. Except it's not yours..." He shook his head, curls bouncing. "Technically it's the Common Room's." And preferably, it was Spike's. Prefects needed to be comfortable to focus on their very important job, afterall. "Plus I know exactly how to jump into it just right from behind." And if they sat there, it was their risk if they suddenly found themselves with a lump of a Prefect in their lap.

Unless it was.
In which case, she wanted to sit in it too.
She finished descending and paused a few feet away, hands clasped behind her back and head cocked to the side. Badges. These were respectable sorts that Jacks was tormenting. Didn't she know better?
"I know a duplication spell. We could make copies of the chair."
Jacks? Spike made a note of the name, and nodded at the girl with a smile. "Nice to make your acquaintance, Jacks," he said, holding out a hand. "Spike Hutchinson, Ravenclaw Prefect," he added. "And you are?" he asked to the newcomer.
Copies of the chair?
Spike shook his head. "I'm sure there's no need." He'd just raced Milton back after Quidditch practice, that was all. Because as
Captain, Shacklebolt would have to return the equipment. Hehe.
