Though the other houses had equally pretty stones, as of now, no house had ANY to show. What a pity.
Despite the fact that Gryffindor was in negative digits like all other three Houses, Edric couldn't help but feel a teeny bit proud that at
least his House was closest to positive numbers. Though, really. All the Houses were an embarrassment to every Hogwarts student at this point.
After examining the hourglass for Gryffindor, Edric allowed his gaze to wander over the other three once more, pausing by the Slytherin hourglass as he caught sight of a girl simply standing there, looking at it as if expecting the points to magically begin building up until all other Houses wouldn't stand a chance to compete.
BUT.
Sadly for the girl, no points were magically appearing out of nowhere, and Slytherin was doing almost as bad as Ravenclaw, though not quite as horribly as Hufflepuff. What happened to those Puffs anyway?
Feeling a little smug because his House happened to be the least pitiful of all four, Edric couldn't help but open his mouth, "So is Slytherin on a race against Ravenclaw to see which can be worse than Hufflepuff, or are you snakes just really bad at both losing and making the most points, too?" 'Cause even if they weren't as bad as the Puffies there, they were nowhere close to Gryffindor.
Edric wasn't really much into House pride, to be honest, but he was much into trolling and annoying, so there you have him.
