Yes, the Friar might be dead, but that didn't stop him from knowing Hufflepuffs and wanting the best for his and Helga's house. Laura looked at the ghost, seriously couldn't he see that the Headmistress was already there. "I am just doing what the Headmistress has asked me too do." Laura said truthfully, seriously was he going to let her explain, but then the Headmistress came over herself. Quote:

"Are you okay?" she asked the girl quietly. "Try to sit up if you can... keep your eyes closed, that can help..." But yes, the poor thing really did seem confused if she thought everyone should be nice to everyone....
Annie shot a glare at the girl who was responsible for all this. "See what your muddy footprints caused?" she addressed the Hufflepuff (Alexa). "Your OWN HOUSEMATE nearly DIED." But, once again, the Bunz had been proven RIGHT. Quote:

Yep, she was dead. Otherwise, why would Logan conveniently show up next to her just when she needed him?
Wait, the Headmistress had said ALMOST died, so she wasn't actually dead. Logan was just... convenient. Yes... that was... making no sense in her head right now, but nothing did. "I think I'm fine, Headmistress, really." She said with a smile as she made another attempt to sit up. Turning to the other Hufflepuff girls standing there, she asked, "Do you want me to help?" And then, losing her balance... while still sitting somehow, she fell over, right into Logan.
With a weak attempt at a smile and laugh through her dizziness, "See, Logan, this is why you always have to be here when I fall... so you can catch me..." Her eyes began to flutter closed again as the room swam. Laura looked at the Headmistress and smiled. "Headmistress, I know this is an important day for you." Laura smiled. "If you want I can take Sutton to the hospital wing and I can take Alexa with me so that she can explain to the healer what has happened." Laura smiled at the Headmistress, she was sure that the Headmistress would want to get on with the tour and Laura was feeling like she had caused all this, well maybe next time she would check her feet before she came into the great hall again, though at least she had already cleaned the muddy footprints she had caused.
Laura smiled at Sutton. "Are you okay?" Laura asked, she was still looking at Alexa wondering if the girl would see sence and clean up her footprints, she just was going to wait to see if the Headmistress agreed that she should be taken to the hospital wing.
