When Selina had handed Genevieve the monocle she had never dreamed that the girl would be generous enough to lend her the deerstalker. Her blue eyes widened at the amazing beauty before her eyes. Shocked, her eyes flickered up to Genevieve as if to silently as her if it was okay to touch the hat. She accepted the hat with open palms because, duh, she did not want to hurt the hat. It was too beautiful for abuse.
Instead of putting on the hat she just cradled it like a baby. There was no need to wrinkle it. Not a hat THIS pretty. She wondered if she pet it... if that would be weird.
