Gideon had wondered why he had never approached the transfiguration professor before now about his desire to continue with his studies. Sure they had had that crazy Shaw for a term among others but Professor Magnus had been around for a bit including last term, when he had started in earnest. He had just figured to learn mostly from his parents for the most part seeing as they would likely had more time for one on one work. However as his work had progressed especially after the summer, he wondered if the woman who taught the subject might have insight on a few things.
So the seventh year made his way to the woman's office to see if she was in and available to speak about it. Gideon walked up to the door and knocked on it before stepping back and settling down into a chair to await a response.
