Alyssa sat on her bed and finished writing up her letter to Evan. She kissed it once before sealing it up and walked over to where Snowdrop was waiting for her. She had brought her Owl down earlier because she didn't want to get caught up in the Owlery after curfew.

Rolling up her letter into a scroll, she tied it up with a red ribbon and attached it to Snowdrop's leg. Then she opened the window, walked her Snowy Owl to the window and let her fly away. Sighing to herself, she closed the window to the dorm and returned to her bed. Kneeling under her bed, she pulled out her trunk, opened it and pulled out her other half of the two way mirror she had bought in Diagon Alley.

She looked at her watch and when it was time, she looked into her mirror and smiled as she saw Evan's reflection smiling back at her. She smiled at him, blew him a kiss and waved to him as she watched him mimic to her to go to sleep. She nodded and lay back on her pillow and holding the mirror to her heart, she closed her eyes, as tears trickled down her cheek. Alyssa slept.
