She shook her head at the girl frantically before drawing for the piece of paper and scribbling as fast as she could; hopefully it was still legible.

She was saving you from losing points. Prof. Scabior put on a silencing charm and if anyone but him takes it off then the person who took it off, the girly who's supposed to be watching us and I would lose 50 points each.

Then she handed the note to the girl.

So the kid was just helping out Serenity finished. That had taken up masses of her paper. And... wait Lex had beaten her to it. Oh well.

And then she saw the kid's 'P' badge. Serenity wanted one. She was like a magpie, drawn to shiny things. Coincidentally, she supported the Montrose Magpies quidditch team. But anyway, even if she was a Prefect, she better not tell the Professor... She did 't want them to lose any housepoints did she? Lex had already lost some.

It was pretty lucky the kid had re-charmed Lex, other wise she'd lose 55 points instead of 5, an on her first day as well! Serenity felt kind of bad considering it had been completely Serenity and Theo's fault this had started. Wait, no, just THEO'S.

Sierra eyed the girls suspiciously. Just what were they up to, hmm? Merlin, had the first years come to the school ready to explode right off the bat or something? It was slightly amusing, but slightly annoying, as well. Annoying, because she knew she was the one expected to deal with it.

She reached out and took the notes, scanning them quickly. FIFTY POINTS?! She didn't care about the Gryffindors. They could lose four hundred for all she was concerned. The Slytherins, though? Now that she was concerned about. They'd come in dead last and third place for the last two terms. She would not let those Puffers show her up again.

"You know what, if we stop talking about it then they won't find out." She explained to the older Prefect.

She also gestured to the notes the silenced students (Serenity and Lex) were writing, "Destroy those before someone figures it out." Ganymede made a crumpling motion with her hands. "Burn them or eat them or something."

Ganymede was so over the whole ordeal. ::

...and then some other kid thought it was her business to chime in and share her two knuts. Sierra gave the girl her best glare. "Talking about it? You think that's all they were doing?" she asked. Wands were involved. Was this one blind?! She rolled her eyes and gave the girls their notes. If anybody was going to be eating paper, it wouldn't be Sierra.

EEK. On that note, Sierra should seriously consider making a quick exit. Yup. Who was this woman, and what did SHE know about Mortimer?!

"Save us? By drawing your wand at the house table?" she asked. Honestly. She wasn't going to have to babysit the Slytherins this term, was she?!

She gave the woman, the one who'd asked about Mortimer, another passing glance. "The feast is ending," she said. "Maybe the Slytherins can make it down to the dungeons and still walk away with a little pride?"

Then she smirked at them. All of them. Well, except the Gryffindor. "...because the next time we have a big feast, we'll be celebrating our first place finish in the house points race, Gobstones, and Quidditch," she said. She finished that by grinning at all of them. "See you in the common room."

...and then she turned and made her way out the Great Hall.
