This was the one problem with getting back to school- early classes. Selina, by nature, was not a morning person. She liked to sleep in way past breakfast and wake up right before lunch, but with school back in session she could not very well sleep that late. If she did, she would miss MOST of her classes. And if she wanted to stay captain she had to go to class. Class was sort of a must at Hogwarts, which Selina understood since it was, you know, a school.
However, her plan to wake up early to get to the first lesson of the year did not exactly work out as well as she had hoped. Kurumi, who just naturally woke up early, had been very silent this morning when she filed out of the girl's dorm. The rest of the girls didn't ever think to shake Selina awake- so she had overslept. Since she had overslept, she had missed breakfast. And for the sanity of the new Professor, she did not want to subject her to a class where Selina was hungry. She was new, she didn't want to terrify her like that.
So as she ran up to Astronomy, she had taken Kurumi's emergency cookie stash
which everyone knew was in her sock draw and began to stuff cookies in her face as a form of nourishment. The redhead continued to do so until she finally reached the door for the Astronomy classroom. Chomping down on her last bit of cookies, she walked into the room and stopped short at the sight of the Professor. She covered her mouth, which was still full of cookie bits, and attempted to swallow them. Once that was all taken care of, she awkwardly smiled,
"Erm, hello Professor..." She looked down in the cookie tin to see one last cookie,
"Cookie, ma'am?"
THAT was awkward. After that encounter, she decided to sit down. It would be the best for everyone in the room. But not before grabbing all of the necessary items in the front of the room. Then she sat down next to Kurumi and handed her the empty cookie box,
"Here you go." Quote:
