It wasn't long after that he had started speaking to the girl who had joined them at the table, the one who didn't look like a Slytherin. He continued smiling at her when she realised she was speaking to him, waiting for her to reply to him.
His eyebrow raised when she told him about wishing to be a Slytherin. "The hat thought about putting me in Ravenclaw" he nodded. He started to think about it too, he wouldn't mind being a Ravvie but there was just something about the Snake house. "You should have asked it to put you in Slytherin like I did, it might have listened to you" Well, it was truly down to his twins sisters request but he wasn't going to explain all that.
Terry's head shot up to listen to the Headmistress speech, he took it all in, wanting to make a good impression rather than to show himself up on the first day at a new school. Did that mean they could have food then? His tummy rumbled just to emphasise the point. He glanced at the table in a hopeful manner. "Train rides must make everyone hungrier" Seeing as he had consumed a fair amount of Chocolate frogs on the train.
"I'm Terry" he smiled. He couldn't help but stare when she said her surname though. Wow. That was long and very confusing but it sounded really cool! He was glad he didn't have to refer to her by her full name though. "It's good to meet you Anna" he said poiltely.
The boy was indeed speak to her. But she never knew that someone could smiled that much
especially in the Slytherin table.
Ohh. The old hat almost put him in Ravenclaw? She raised her eyebrows at this. Then why did he end up in other house? Wait.
"Yo-You could do that? Asking the hat to put you in other house?" Why she didn't think of that. Wait. She did.
"I think it won't work for me. I asked the hat to put me here but it said I quote I don't put a student in a house she thought that the color will look good with her hair." Anna said mimicking the old hat voice.
And then she heard the Headmistress began her speech. Finally. Just a few more minutes before she could eat something. Anna eyes went from the Headmistress to the boy when she heard he's saying about the train rides.
"Yeah. That's definitely an unforgettable train rides." Wonder what happened with the train.
Terry? Nice name.
"Its nice too meet you too, Terry." she gave the boy a smile.
"Are you a first year?" Or maybe he's a transfer student like herself?
