He smiled a little at the greeting the boy gave him, wandering why he was speaking to him over here and not at the Slytherin table where apparently, they 'belonged'. "Hello" he greeted him back. He wasn't sure of what else to say though and it appeared that neither did the other boy. Quote:

Since she was so shy, at first Cora decided to just ignore him. After a moment, though, she thought she should be nice. Taking a deep breath, she looked up at him. "H-Hi," she said. "I'm Cora." That was all she was able to manage, and it was spoken in such a quiet voice that she couldn't be sure if he had heard. She smiled politely, wondering if he would even notice her. She quickly tucked a lock of her curly brown hair behind her ear and bit her lip nervously. Just as he thought that he would be ignored by the Ravenclaws, one seemed to pipe out from nowhere which surprised Terry, in a good way. She seemed shy, nervous, Terry could sympathise with her in certain situations. He stepped forward closer to her as she spoke, her voice so quiet that he could barely understand her. "I'm Terry" he grinned in a friendly manner, trying to make her feel more comfortable with her situation. "And I don't bite," he chuckled. He was completely harmless, almost. The boy pondered as to whether to sit down next to her or just continue standing here, constantly looking out of place. He could've been a Ravenclaw, he thought. He was quite a wise young man, not necessarily clever and knowledgeable in subjects, but good at advice and knowing what to do. He guessed he got it from his mother.
