His stomach grumbled again and he looked at the empty table unimpressed. "I hope this food hurries up, I'm starving!" he complained.
So, no food on her house table. No food on the Slytherin table as well. Maybe she should try the staff table. They might have something there, right? Her eyes went from the empty table in front of her to the staff table. The Professors table seem empty too. No sign of foods. She barely could see anything from her seat anyway.
She should go back to her own table, she didn't know anyone in Slytherin. Not yet. She was about to leave the Snakes table when a boy smiling at her, maybe not at her but he's smiling at her direction. And he's talking. Was he talking to her?
Blink. Blink. Blink. "I wish." she mumbled.
"I'm a Ravenclaw actually." Which is not really bad.
"Are you a Slytherin?" Maybe he's like her, a student from other house who wanted to be a Slytherin. The red hair heard stomach grumbled. Was that her stomach? Or was that the boy stomach? Please let it be the boy stomach. Then the boy said he's hungry. So the growling sound was from the boy stomach. Good to know.
"Yeah, me too. The Headmistress needs to do the speech soon." Before her stomach decided to make an embarrassing noise too.
"I'm Annabelle Blaszczykowski. But you can call me Anna." No need to torture the boy by asking him to call her by her full name.
