Merlin...that seemed like forever ago while also seeming like just yesterday.
Kurumi nodded...and blushed....mostly blushed though. "I've been baking since before I could stand, or so father says. I visit the kitchens often and bake with the house elves as well. Very accommodating." And as close as family as far as Kurumi was concerned. "Nice to meet you, Emilia and, well, weclome to Hogwarts and Gryffindor! I'm Kurumi."
She hadn't said her name already...had she?!
"That's what the name of it is, thank you!" Emilia said, glad that the girl knew what she was talking about. She hated when she forgot things, even something as simple as that.
"Oh wow, that's impressive," Emi replied. She had been that way about her art and her sports. "That's nice of them to share the kitchens with you. Do they even teach you recipes? Or have you taught them a thing or two?" she asked with a growing smile.
"Thanks... again," she said with a wide smile. It was nice to feel welcomed in the midst of all of the craziness of the past few days. "So, have you been here for all of your years?" she asked, curious. She had already met one transfer, so it was possible others had as well.
