Ameliah gripped the table so hard her knuckles were white.
"Don't... talk about her." she said in a shaky voice. It was bad enough everything from over the summer was building a pile of emotions, but just mentioning her made Am feel dizzy. Just like she was now. She was also suddenly aware that everyone could see the long scar across her left cheek, but she couldn't do anything, she felt frozen she was so dizzy.
