Up until now, Erin still didn't know how the heads of the student body were chosen but she could learn them on her fourth year, might be on her OWLs term or even in her sixth or last year. There were still loads of time.
Cat? Posy? Erin was ready to answer when suddenly, Louisa added the statement, 'Does she still have my name?' A cue for her to miss Enya even more. They were enemies on her first year but they instantly gotten along well on her second term. "How I wished I still have her but Enya took her, remember? And she's best to be her owner. But I bought a new one. Her name's Posy. Your cat should meet her sometime." Well, it was Louisa's last year, the cats should meet definitely.
Louisa chuckled quietly and waved her hand, "
It's just a badge, no big deal, really." Not that she wasn't proud and incredibly nervous this term but nope, no crowns whatsoever. Then Vashti came up, what a brilliant cheerful subject at last! Louisa's face beamed and she nodded vigorously at Erin, "
Yes! Vashti Greenwell. She's still my best friend, now honeymooning with her husband in Hawaii." While she was stuck in school about to wipe off some firstie's snot.
Not gonna happen for real, though.
Anyways, the cat talk made the seventeen years old feel relaxed even more! She "aah"ed when Erin clarified, "
Oh, right. But now you have a cat, you say?! Posy, that's cute." Louisa leaned her elbows on the table and voiced out her thoughts, "
Okay, it seems that there are quite a lot of cats in the common room this term. I have two, Viola and a kitten that I haven't named yet. So maybe we can built a cat house in the common room where they all get acquainted and play together while we study and do our business? What do you think?" Louisa was already excited to do this! EEP!

"Congrats on becoming Head Girl," she said, taking note of the badge. Silvia hadn't really been certain on just who she thought would get the badge, but she was glad to see a Ravenclaw wearing it.
"
Thank you, Silvia!" Louisa replied cheerfully, feeling the familiarity of all those faces seeping into her tensed body and soothing her down. "
How was your summer, then?" HER summer was fantastic in general so it was a safe question to ask someone in case they deflect.

When Max entered the Great Hall, his eyes fell upon his and Ellie's usual spot at the Ravenclaw table. In the back of his mind he had hoped to see a flash of red hair in that direction - but of course he was being foolish. He did spot Louisa nearby, however, and he decided perhaps it was time for a change. He headed down the length of the table on the opposite side from Louisa.
Upon sitting down across from the Head Girl, Max gave small smiles and nods to everyone already there. "Hey Louisa, how 'bout those adventures?" There was a weary grin, but his tone had a hint of sarcasm. They hadn't been in any real danger with the train dilemma, it seemed - though there had been many scratches and bruises via portkey. It would certainly be a last trip to Hogwarts they would never forget. "Looks like the 'fun' is seeking us out this time around." When a term started out the way it did, there was no denying that more bizarre happenings were just around the corner.
How exciting.
She caught the movement somewhere on the opposite side of the table and her eyes caught Max sliding closer to where the group was sitting... if you count this as a "group". Louisa gave him a way more cheerful smile than the one he got this morning, "
Max, hi!" She leaned forward on her elbows again facing him and chuckled, "
Yeah, carrying a concussed girl on a stretcher with her boyfriend on a verge of breakdown was the highlight of my day." She shook her head and chuckled once again.
But then it really occurred to her that she didn't see him on the Platform or at the carriages, "
How did you do? Are you okay? Did you break anything?" Like... not a vase or other earthly positions, but limbs and bones. He shoulder get it. Right?

"Hey Louisa!" he said in the friendliest, nothing-happened-that-got-you-upset voice he could muster, with a matching bright smile too. And ohhhh now he spots the shiny new badge
"Congratulations on being Head Girl!" he added. He meant it, every word.
It sucked that she had to play the serious sterny girl with him now, because she really wanted to extend her cheerfulness over to him and beam and grin and all that. But he stole the identity of a Prefect, whether he regretted it or not, and since she didn't get the chance to actually talk about that she had to keep her beaming and grins at bay. So, she just beamed. Not like a thunder beam but more like a small bulb beam.
"
Thank you!" It was more of breathing out than saying the words. But it meant a lot to her to hear it from him, it was valuable from other people too but... Vickers and her had a very unique bond in her head so..
"
How are you? Did you have to see the Healer? Did anything happen to you? Or... fall on you?" Because he was tall enough to have all the luggage hitting him first on their way down. OH and she forgot to point out that she now changed topics and was talking about the train breaking down.

Now Nigel was really get hungry and was wondering what was taking the Headmaster so long to start the speech.
"How is it being Head Girl at Hogwarts?" Nigel asked Louisa curiously.
Awww, wasn't that sweet? Louisa chuckled, unable to understand the enthusiasm behind Quidditch, but she nodded encouragingly at him all the same. "
That's good news. I've had a broom of my own once, too. You know, tried to get this flying thing under control but it got smashed up in the finals and I just gave up." She shrugged and started pouring herself a glass of water as the boy asked her a question.
"
It's only been one day and I'm already tired, I tell you. I mean everyone else is tired, I think. What with the train breaking down and us having to take portkeys? Did you get hurt anywhere, by the way? When the train came to a sudden halt? Or after you took the portkey?" Seriously, she needed to know how everyone was doing after all that.

"Thanks, Vick. Still sore about not knowing I was coming to Hogwarts, or am I forgiven?"
Those words were enough for the Ravenclaw to drop EVERYTHING she was doing, including a water pitcher and a goblet, and for her head to snap toward the talker. A blonde not-young girl, who called Vickers Vick and implied that he had been "sore" because she didn't tell him something. Which was a dead giveaway that they were friends, and on first-name-basis friends. How... lovely.
Clearing her throat, Louisa repositioned her hold on the pitcher and the glass and started pouring water again, her eyes maybe were on the water pouring process but the rest of her was waiting for HIS answer. Not that she miiiiiinded what he would say, pfft, no. Of course not. Why would she? No logical reasons. She was just curious about those things that made Vickers sore. Since they were class partners and friends too. She was totally cool.
... who was this girl, by the way? Not young enough to be a firstie and totally a new face.

"
HAI! Welcome to Ravenclaw house, I've seen your hat sorting ceremony." She leaned over to be closer to the new girl, who seemed quite the shy one, and extended her hand toward her. "
I'm Louisa Carter, seventh year. Nice to meet you," aaaaand she waaaas? This was her cue to introduce herself so that they could get acquainted more. Maybe even become friends, or Louisa would help her find friends.
The food wasn't here yet, it wouldn't be here until the headmistress gave the speech. So they could sit here with everyone else and chitchat!

Her and Gwen? 'We've met on Diagon Alley before our first year here and have been best friends ever since.' Long time already. Not to mention that their parents had been friends at school as well.
'I hope they'll be in the dorms by the time we go upstairs. I have one of my own, the big grey Pluto.' Fingers crossed. 'And it wasn't any trouble, really. I was just standing there idly, anyway. After a moment, Gwendolyn realized there was something that even Ari had told her on the train ride, after the Gryffindor came back from the corridor. Louisa was Head Girl! ‘Congratulations!’, the fifth year said with a grin.
She felt like asking Louisa at least how she was, but the girl seemed rather busy talking to the students at the Ravenclaw table. After all, they would get to talk some other time, right? Maybe at the Common Room. In the next moment, the girl heard Louisa say something, making Gwen smirk. Well. She and Ari had been best friends before even coming to Hogwarts. And that was just what the Gryffindor just replied.
Louisa nodded her head at the Gryffindor, "
Yeah. Everyone's either been nursed for mild scratches or bruises, or is with the Healer I think." Her hand started drawing circles on her empty plate as she gave herself another moment to think this over, "
Did anyone you know got any broken bone or something serious?" She asked, concern all over her face. No one who was close enough to Louisa were injured as far as she knew, but some of her 'formal' friends were and it felt just as bad.
Sigh.
"
Just like me and Kita. She's graduated three terms ago and now is married but we're still just as close." Maybe juuuuust a little less since she got her work and responsibilities. Louisa smiled at the both of them then and internally wished they'd stay like that. "
Vashti and I were like that too. Just don't let anything comes between you two, okay?" Because Louisa was missing all of her besties so darn much this term already, "
Not even a love potion. Cherish those moments." And.. that love potion came from experience. *cough*
Louisa chuckled at Ari's last remark, "
Yeah. Oakey's quite an excited lad for a Hufflepuff if you ask me. Is he one of your friends?" Louisa
knew him but she wouldn't call themselves friends yet.
Then Gwen congratulated her! Louisa beamed at the fellow fifth year, "
Thank you, Gwen. I hope I don't disappoint y'all." Particularly their Head of House, professor Vee. She respected the dude!

blink.
Was this girl calling her *choke* Louza? LOUISA. "
Louisa." she replied rather curtly before looking down at her chest where the badge was pinned and smiled again at the younger Slytherin, "
Thank you, Cassiel. It's new." She knew the girl's name was Cassia, of course. But let's see how do snakes take their names getting all messed up by eagles, shall we? Heheh. "
How was your summer?" The young snake seemed to be friends with Gwen, too. Interesting.
