Gwendolyn decided to head straight to the Ravenclaw table, and watch the sorting ceremony with her friend. ‘Hi, Elliot’, she greeted the first person she recognized at the table. ‘Had a good summer?’ Gwen had only seen her on Diagon Alley, but they didn’t get to talk much. Mehh. ‘Hello’, she greeted Vickers too, and then decided to go look for her friend. Hmm. Where was she? Gwendolyn gave a quick look around, eventually spotting Ariadne already waiting.
As she got closer to the Gryffindor, the fifth year could hear her friend guess the house of the firstie who was just being sorted. ‘Not bad’, Gwen mused, taking a seat at the table. ‘How about that one?’, she asked, smirking, as she looked at the first year who was heading to the sorting hat. Gwen eyed the person for a moment before drawing her attention back to Ariadne. ‘I hope you haven’t been waiting for long’ She wasn’t that late, was she? Still, Gwen felt a bit sorry for what happened at the carriages. They were probably going to go in one of the carriages together, but as soon as they got on the platform in Hogsmeade, she couldn’t spot Ari any longer. Now. In which one of the houses will that firstie be sorted? Vee walked over to the Ravenclaw Table with a grin on her face and a skip in her step. Finally, she was at Hogwarts, and sorted, and a Ravenclaw, too! This just gave her another thing in common with Viola, and though she might not admit it out loud, Vee was happy to be following in her sister's footsteps. She couldn't wait to write to her about it. "Hi, is this seat taken?" Vee asked a girl who looked much older and had an empty seat next to her. She didn't really pause to realize she picked a place at the table with a lot of older students around - not that it really mattered, they were all in one house after all. And Vee was entirely too hungry to be looking around for an area of her future classmates - she just had to her her hands on some of that lemon chicken, and the potatoes which smelled as good as any french fries she'd ever had.
