Nothing serious. That was supposed to take all of the fun out of it, but it didn't. Because now it would be fun to see them get together, as they would eventually, no doublt about it. And Australian! Pres absolutely adored aussie accents, though she would never tell that to anyone.
"Whoa, you met him a month ago and didn't say anything to me? We're supposed to be friends, Elliot!" A whole month of plotting that had been practically stolen from Presley, because Elliot didn't talk about feelings.
"And...do...you call him Ezzi?" Presley asked, knowing the outcome of the question was important. Presley and Elliot had known each other for their whole lives, and only barely had Elliot started shortening Presley's name to "Pres" like everyone else did. If she'd met this guy a mont ago, and was already using a pet name for him, it was something serious.
