Presley was walking a thin line. And it was good of Elliot to remind her, but the line was with her father. Not her grandparents. Her father didn't care enough about Awar to notice what house she was in, let alone care. And her grandparents didn't care about Presley's quarrel with her father. They merely said that it was his choice where Presley stayed, and if he wasn't okay with her living with them, they they wouldn't go behind his back that way. Which was fine. That was their choice. Presley gasped. Would Elliot really leave her sister out in the cold like that? After violently claiming that Leo never should have abandoned Presley? It was pretty much the same principle. "You really would?" she asked in shock. Not judgement, just surprise.

Elliot stared at Presley like she was some sort of..wild animal or something. No no NO! Elliot would NEVER! "Presley..I'm glad I don;t know." She said, her eyes suddenly very serious.

It was dangerous, whatever they did, and she knew that knowing more...meant she was more likely to be a target...or something worse. "No, don't even think like that, Black!" she cried, using her friend's last name this time...just to show how serious she was. "Leave it alone. I'm sure we'll know in time."

And once again Elliot was being considerably uptight. Not unusual.

Hypocrite.

THe word slithered into Elliot's mind like a disease...she blinked, gulped, and sighed..."N-no. I just thought I would...but now that I think about it..." hadnt she just angrily accused Leo for not helping his sister? "I don't know, actually. It all depends on the situation...like in your situation..." she sighed, "Since it isn't that bad, I would help Dani." So she really didn't know.

Did that make her a bad sister?

No.

It made her a smart girl. HMPH.
