Mine was pretty lousy, actually, Pres," she said with a sigh. She swiveled to face her.
"I didn't see my father once after he picked me up from the train station. He didn't even say goodbye." She felt for talking about family in front of the girl...since, well, she, too, was having family problems.
Her eyes flickered to Awar before final settling back on Pres.
"Your cousin...she's a puffer." Way to state the obvious...
