She supposed what Vivi had said made sense but...well..."How does that work when they're so scary that the actually injured don't wanna show up at their door?" She asked, tilting her head slightly. Then again that might have been the idea. There would be less work to do if there were less students coming in--LE GASP, so that was it! Lex winced when Vivi raised her wrist to get a better look. The pain had gotten worse since someone last tried looking at it. Merlin, it really shouldn't have been that bad, all she did was land badly on it!
She nodded when the girl asked her to wiggle her fingers. That would be easy, the hand had still been functional for the most part...not that she had been using it much. Her brows furrowed when she saw that her fingers were only slightly moving. "That's weird...it was better earlier." She looked back at her friend. "Can you fix it...?" "I think it's the swelling," Vivi gently lowered the arm. Could she fix it? Sure, she knew a few spells, but none she'd done herself and none she trusted herself to use on a first year who trusted her with enormous eyes. She wasn't taking anyone's health in her hands.
"I can't fix it. I don't think it's broken, and we can wrap it up and keep it immobile for a while, but if it hurts that much, you probably need to see the Healer. She isn't that bad. No one's died at Hogwarts in years." True fact. Quote:

Why he was pleased he didnt know, he should be worried or annoyed, but he wasnt. "Welcome to Ravenclaw Vivi!" he greeted the newly sorted blonde, the excitement having him forget for a moment that she has branded him as something that got him all sorts of annoyed. His gaze shifted when Alexa joined them "Hey Alexa-- you're a Gryffindor!" he uttered as he looked at the crimson on her robes. He wasnt far off when he felt she might be sorted with the Lions after all what with her violent tendencies being a clue. But now Alexa looked like she needed Healer attention.... and she sought it from Vivi? He eyed the blonde curiously. He didnt know she had this valuable skill set... And there was Vickers. Vivi looked up from Lex's arm and gave the boy a lopsided grin. He was the sort who took the rough side of her wit and came back for more, which made him all right in her book.
"Thanks, Vick. Still sore about not knowing I was coming to Hogwarts, or am I forgiven?"
