She smirked smugly at him, then at Jayden...and then back at him. She raised an eyebrow, as if DARING him to say anything rude or impolite back to her.
"You better promise!" Jayden replied, her voice a bit shrill. Her cheeks began turning red at the mention of the fact that Jared was such a looker. "Elliot!" She groaned, poking her friend on the shoulder.
