Because Elliot had a temper, and she would tell Presley t0 her FACE if she was upset with her. She smirked. "I just don't know what's going on...how have you been?"

Presley breathed a silent sigh of relief at Elliot's assurance that she wasn't upset. To be honest, the Morganzo girl was probably the only one who wasn't mad at Presley. What was going on? Didn't she know?
"I'm assuming you heard about all of my family problems?"
It had been in the news lately. Presley no longer living with her father, her brother turning her away. Presley now lived with her muggle aunt, and hated it.
"And you know it's my birthday today?" September first.
"Leo didn't even, I mean...God I sound like such a blithering idiot. The point is, Leo didn't come see me off at the platform. And my father didn't send a card."
Presley would never admit it, but right now what she wanted most was for her father to forgive her, and for Leo to forgive her. But she was a Black, she couldn't step back and let them win. It would never happen. She was to proud to go and ask for forgiveness, and her family was too proud to back down and let her be right.
