"Yes, talk." He looked momentarily surprised at her boldness. Did she not remember the conversation they'd had on the train? "I already did ask you out, Nell. I asked if we could go on a date every Hogsmeade weekend and you accepted." Well this was one of the strangest encounters he'd ever had. "I promise, no other girl will get me." He'd been owling her all holidays and even waited up all night just to get her letter, hadn't he?
"Sorry." Edmund spoke quietly, trying to ignore the smell of vomit. Well he was of age, wasn't he? He awkwardly extracted his wand and pointed it at the place her sick had hit the ground. "Scourgify." There, much better.
Turning her glazed gaze up to Ed's face and smiled. He liked her and her not blond hair! Wait....he had asked her out? A vague memory swam up but slipped from her grasp. It was like trying to grab a fish with her bare hands. Nell gave up trying. It made her head hurt and nausea welled up again though she didnt think she had anything left in her stomach to eject.
"Sorry." She mumbled. Her hand went to her head again. "I dont think Im myself right now."
