"Sorry about that." Oh wait but he was apologizing too. The next thing she knew he was being pulled away by some other boy. How rude. Before he got too far he shouted for her to grab Thomas. Uh oh....
She shifted Felix to her right hand that had the hurt wrist then bent to pick up the frog with her left. For a moment she glared at Felix. "If you try anything I'll feed you to the squid and that's a promise."
Then she turned her attention to Mr. Gibbins who had pushed through thee crowd--nearly knocking into the water mind you--so he could get to the front. He was just lucky she was too excited to be offended. She knew she was small but that didn't mean she could be pushed aside and possibly fed to the squid!!
Four to a boat...hmmm...
She looked around to see who might have made the other three for her boat. She saw Ari; that was a pretty good sign...but who else...?
"You okay?" Ariella asked Alexa as she approached her,
"What was the second time you've fallen in only...10 minutes..." Ari giggled a bit at Alexa's bad luck, and giggled even more as she scolded her cat,
"You know, Felix might get himself into more trouble this year than you!"
Ari, still holding onto Pepper, looked at Alexa and smiled as she asked,
"Do you care to join me on a boat ride Miss Cambridge?" Ariella bowed in joking manner and giggled once again
