As Em was on the ground helping out the little kid, she kept an eye on the things going on around her. Students kept falling out of the sky, but she hadn’t seen her friends, or the others from the food trolley. Ari and Lexa were here, but where was the other kids. And Michael and Max? Had something happened on the train after she left? She remembered what Max had told her when they were sitting there in the dark. Someone had to have wanted it happen. The phrases Don’t Die, and Don’t Panic kept running through her mind.
She also noticed that very few people were landing on their feet, and it looked like some of them were getting hurt. She would have to check on some of the others in a bit. And a lot of those she had seen in the prefect’s compartment were just heading to the carrages. It would be one thing if professors were there taking care of things, but there wasn’t anyone taking charge, so why were the student leaders leaving? Hollering out to those helping the others she said. "Guys, I've got a first aid kid over here if you need something." |
