Weighing the options he decided it would be best to follow the instructions of Louisa."You think this is who Louisa's looking for?" He reached down and carefully picked up the cat.

He turned around and gave the two girls a smile holding the cat between the armpits of it's front paws with his two hands. "Is this the cat?" Oakey called out to them. The cat, Viola was her name? It did not look very pleased to be held the way it was by Oakey.

Thank Merlin, the chase was over! Ariadne wanted to hug Oakey but reconsidered it. He was talking to a girl, so it was better not to embarrass him. Was that the cat? Ari should know. It was partly her fault that the animal got so far away, though she wasn't the one guilty for letting it free.

'Yes, thank you, Oakey!' Ariadne nodded and took the cat gently in her arms. It won't bite, Louisa said. She should be fine. 'I owe you big time.' She'll have to make it up to him sometime. 'I can't talk now, but you must think of some way I can repay you and let me know. I don't want to remain in your debt.' Ari held Viola tightly and turned to leave, allowing the two Hufflepuffs to continue their conversation.

The tabby Viola wasn't that quick in escaping, since the corridor was this crowded, so the girl should get it easily. This made Louisa feel slightly relaxed and slow down her pace while her eyes hung on the back of the girl, "DON'T WORRY SHE WON'T BITE YOU!" So that the girl won't be alarmed or hesitant with the cat. "SHE'S VIOLA!" And with that the seventh year student simply waited in her spot for the girl to get the cat and come back to her. She was wearing a thick darn hoodie and soaking wet from this few seconds of jogging. No more running after them.

Making her way back to the cat's owner, Ariadne couldn't help but feel proud of herself. She didn't have much reason, though, because Oakey was the one who had caught the cat, after all. But she had alerted him, that had to count for something, right?

'Here she is, the little imp. Do you want me to put her in the basket?' There was a risk for Viola to run away again, but Louisa's hands seemed to be quite full. 'Or do you want me to bring her to your compartment?' Ari offered. It was not like she was carrying anything.

'You're Louisa, right?' The Head Girl? Ariadne had most definitely seen her in the castle before, though they'd never spoken to each other as far as she could tell. 'I'm Ariadne Marchbanks, Ari for short.' Running after the older girl's cat entitled her to an introduction, no?
