His gaze found hers again, "I missed yer birthday again." he said softly, knowing it was in June. He'd yet to even celebrate it with her! UGH, that just wasn't right at all! "Yer of age now te."
"That's strange," Amelia said, a frown taking over her face. But if Isaac said he hadn't gotten her note than she knew it was the truth. They'd both been looking forward to seeing each other. She should have known that he wouldn't have blown her off. Although if his parents got their way she probably wouldn't be seeing him at all! She was fine with not seeing him during the Summer if it meant she could see him the rest of the year.
"I'm glad you didn't stay. I'd hate to not be able to see you during the year. I mean, we didn't see each other too much last year, but I like knowing that you're close by," she admitted softly. Knowing he was close always made her feel better. He just lit up her life if she was to be honest. Not that she'd go around telling everyone that bit of information.
"It's okay. My birthday wasn't much fun anyway. Just a few old friends came over. They would have liked you though, and it would have proved to them that I wasn't lying about having a handsome boyfriend. Maybe we can go out on a date to Hogsmeade when we're allowed?" she asked, giving a slightly pleading look. She really wanted to go on a real date with her man. It would make her year.
