Shaking his head, maybe he shouldn't have gone.
Ok, well that's an understatement, he shouldn't have gone at all! If his mum had had something to say about it, he wouldn't have been on the train at all! "Believe me..." his voice hinted in irritation, "If me mum had something te say about me goin' I'd haf left fer Australia back the first part of July and I'd still be there yet." Ugh he was mad at how much his mum had pressured him to stay there. He'd hated it! He hadn't wanted to be there at all, but his parents wanted to 'discuss' things with him.
Yeah the discussions were all one sided telling him he 'had' to move down there with no options on his part. For Merlin's sake, he was of age!
"But I did reply. I told you where and when to meet and sent a whole itinerary and everything to you. My owl came back without my letter, or any reply so I just assumed that you'd gotten it and didn't bother to send a reply since we'd be meeting up. I waited for hours for you, but when you didn't come I had to go home," Amelia told him, determined that he understand that she'd told him everything about what they were meant to do. It was imperative that, that was understood.
"But I'm glad that you're here now. Why didn't your parents want you to come back?" she questioned, highly confused about why they were so insistent that he go to Australia. He was of age afterall and very responsible. Besides, what trouble could he really get into at Hogwarts?
