Lex looked over at the girl, momentarily in shock because of her response. "Seventh? So you mean this will be your last year?" Le Gasp! "That's terrible!" She didn't even want to think of the day she would become a seventh year; it was all too much! "Yep, it's my last year!" Emmanuelle exclaimed, finally showing her excitement. She was actually looking forward to not having to study anymore. Only, everyone she had talked to so far seemed to think it was horrible. Weird.
"Nope, not so much sad as excited. No more homework, no more books, no more teachers' dirty looks as they say." Although, she supposed she might feel differently once the time for her to graduate came closer. And, yep, Em had guessed correctly. A first year.
