“Hey,” she said giving Kurumi a smile “I know, its been a while. We’ll have to catch up later.” Not here, in this crowded compartment, that she wasn’t supposed to be in, with all these people she didn’t know. The puff’s eyes lit up when the lion offered the man a cookie. She couldn’t wait to have one of those at the feast.
As someone else spoke to her, she turned, seeing it was the girl from Fletcher’s shop. After seeing the girl there, it had taken Em a while to remember the girl’s name. They had started Hogwarts the same year, and she couldn’t ever remember actually meeting the girl. “Your welcome Louisa. Hopefully you guys won’t have a lot of trouble with the students causing trouble this year.”
She watched from the doorway as the two guys from the bowling alley made their way further into the compartment. Why was everybody on edge? Was everyone that uncomfortable with the adults around? The uncomfortable soroundins was forgotten when the red headed girl spoke. Em thought she was a quiddich player, or probably Hufflepuff’s captain since she was in the compartment. “Yep, there’s loads of them, take as many as you want.”
As the new girl squeezed in, Em made way for her. So she was her new prefect? “Congrats on your badge.” She said smiling at the girl she didn’t know. |
