"I'm Emmaleigh," the older puff said as she continued to hold the little crying girl, hoping she would dry up soon. There had been too many tears in the compartment already.
Laura sighed. "Why do I feel like I've made the wrong choice then." Laura really wished that Oakey was still sitting there chatting with her but well she knew now it was going to be awhile before they spoke again. "I think you could be right there." Laura was finally managing to stop the tears. "I'm really sorry you had to see me like this." Laura gave the older girl a small smile. "And I'm sorry you had to see that." Laura hugged the older girl back.
