As much fun as hanging out by the food trolley was, Garrett knew that he should probably be finding a compartment and taking a nap before he got to the school. It just seemed impossible to do, what with all the excitement and older students. This wasn't just Diagon Alley, where everybody could talk about magic and the wizarding world at leisure; this was the Hogwarts Express, where everyone on board was going to Hogwarts.
He continued peeking through the windows of different compartments, looking for... something. Maybe it was an unoccupied window seat, or maybe it was a person or two who looked quiet. He didn't know. He was just looking for something.
Sierra had no idea what to say to the girl she'd burst in on. She'd already mumbled something about not realizing this compartment was taken, so..what else was there? She reached behind her and grabbed the latch that opened the compartment. A second later, she swung open the door just in time to back right into some kid wandering down the corridor.
"Watch where you're going," she said, although not quite in a snappy mood. She eyed his uniforms, looking for any sign of the house he was sorted in, but a colorless tie showed her he was a first year.
"Ahh, a first year," she said.
"Well, welcome to Hogwarts then. Or, the trip there." It was the least she could say.
