.....Abby stared. Oh, wow. She had no idea that people could be so bad at singing. And, what on earth was she singing? Bad song, bad voice. Abby covered her eyes as her eyes shifted towards the window again. She was sure her ears were bleeding. "YOU GOTTA STOP." So, girl. Singing badly wasn't really making Abby smile. If it wasn't obvious already. "Besties?" Abby raised an eyebrow. She really couldn't see them being besties. Not when Genie had been annoying her from the second she entered the compartment. Although, Abby had to admit.. Genie wasn't half as bad as the rude little girl. UGH.
Hasty? EW. "As long as you're the only one who calls me that." Abby shrugged. She didn't mind really. Hasty was better than 'Miss Thing' anyway. As for her giving up.. Hm. Abby gave a stiff smile for a second. "Is that enough?" Hopefully, that would stop people from singing.. EEK.
And.. the annoying little girl was speaking to her again. Abby sighed and listened to the girl say that she knew where Chace was. Yeah, right. "Yeah.. No. That's not going to work. You're going to have to do better than that, girly." That... was almost a smile. Almost. But it didn't seem sincere and the girl wasn't in any better a mood than she'd been when they started, so Genevieve shook her head, setting her long blond ponytail in motion. Nope nope nope.
"I wouldn't be able to pay out even a ketchup flavored Bott bean for that smile. You looked like you were passing a kidney stone." And since it was her turn... Genevieve accepted it as a challenge.
Hasty would smile. She would remove the abnormally large stick up her posterior region. And she would not make this train ride a complete drag for everyone with her rotten mood. Quote:

Lex chuckled a bit when Genevieve told her that her method of amusement was wrong but also because she referred to the girl as her prey. The more this girl talked was the more she liked her; she had an interesting mind that most older kids didn't. "Yeah, I don't think anyone would laugh while being insulted. I was just getting something out there before I started my turn." She might as well had.
She took a seat and watched the girl demonstrate the correct way to insult someone. Her eyes fell to the fattest cat she had ever seen. Merlin she was happy Felix wasn't that big because he didn't like walking and she wouldn't have been able to carry him around the way she did if he was so huge.
.....
Once again this girl had amused her. Gosh why couldn't all older kids be like her? She stifled another laugh when she told her it was her turn then advised her not to sing. "Don't worry, I know I'm not much of a singer to begin with." She hopped off the seat and right over to the girl, being very careful not to touch her. "Hey girly, I think I know why you're so grouchy." she said, beaming over at her. She had seen this too many times and though it disgust her others seemed to like it. "You're looking for your boyfriend aren't you? Well I know where he is and I'll tell you if you smile--lead you there myself if you laugh." Hm. Bribery was an interesting tact, especially since it had worked so well on Lex back at the station. Still, Genevieve wasn't sure, but she thought bringing up the boyfriend was exactly the opposite way to cheer Hasty up. Ick, though. She could appreciate Lex's disgust.
"Let me try." She stood and gestured for Lex to hop up on the seat... and NOT to step on the big old cat. "M'lady. Can I have this dance?" Genevieve bowed low and offered a hand to Lex. They were going to waltz on the seats. Genevieve may have hated her debutante days with a burning passion, but she did know how to dance.
