The twelve year old stood smiling her big grin that appeared whenever she felt excited, which is most of the time and whenever she met her Eagle friend. She beamed at Gwen greeting her. Cassia had been worried about standing in the queue doing nothing. But the problem had been solved having found Gwen here.
"I'M dying to go there!" Cassia said beaming at her friend in a response to the question about getting to Hogwarts. "Finally we're on our way there. Though I had so much fun during the summer ,I was so eager to return." She told her friend. Remembering now herself sleeping in her bed and looking forward to get back to Hogwarts, she felt it was ages ago when it was actually a couple of days. She will really miss her house and family but she will owl them.
"So what do you think of this year?" Cassia asked Gwen. As having spent four years at Hogwarts Gwen must have some kind of ability which defined whether this year is going to be exciting or not. "I'm so eager to meet the new headmistress," Cassia said. maybe Gwen was like most of older students who were sad because Professor Tate left but Cassia barely knew the man but she liked him, he was a nice man. Nontheless she was excited to know about this new headmistress. It was cooler to have a woman ruling the school. Cassia thought, women always had special charm.
Gwen was really glad to see Cassia again. And, besides just being glad to get to spend some time with her friend, the Ravenclaw was relieved to have something to do before she could order herself something. She still hadn’t made up her mind regarding what she wanted to eat but mehh… she had plenty of time to figure that out. Still with a small smirk on her face, Gwendolyn looked back at her friend.
She nodded. She understood what Cassia was saying. She had a lot of fun during the summer holiday, but she was eagerly waiting to get back. Ah. Hogwarts! Though… it wasn’t going to be exactly the same…Gwen thought about that for a moment before looking back at the young Slytherin.
‘Despite of the OWLs, I really look forward to this year. Well, things are probably going to be different…’, she mused.
‘You know, without the people who graduated last term, new firsties’ Who hopefully weren’t that intolerable. Seriously, last term was really great. Last year’s first years were actually quite promising, but Gwen was rather sure it was going to be different this term.
Great, she thought and tried hard not to roll her eyes.
So Cassia was eager to meet the new Headmistress.
‘Me too, but I will surely miss Tate’, she said. Seriously- no more
‘don’t die’ speech this term?
Madness. This was one of the reasons why she would have liked to have things just the way they were last term. But… Change was good, right? It had to be…
‘Anyway…’, her voice trailed off.
‘I’m curious to see what has changed around Hogwarts’ Of course, besides new Professors. Gwendolyn was wondering what was new around the grounds, since there was always something changing.
