This chocolate was just another experiment, after their discussion in Diagon Alley earlier that summer, so he was allowed to eat it too. Even though she had a feeling he wouldn't get the same feeling from it as she did, since he hadn't had the reverse already. Her coffee was still running though her after all, even though that was only visible by the faint bouncing she was doing. And that really, probably, wasn't really that obvious to him since she was usually way more hyper than he was, or at least more talkative. "Only time they don't spoil fun is if there's a way around them. Bending rules can be fun too, although breaking them still is more fun," she added, reaching out to take yet another piece of the coffee-flavored chocolate. She wasn't about to turn it down when it was right there. It wasn't going to ruin their other experiment anyway, because he had to know she wasn't about to stay away from all chocolate before they attacked the truffles. He'd distracted her by the talk about his superhero idea, though. "So do I get to keep this for a while?," she asked, pointing at the written description. At least she could put that in her pocket, unlike the boxes of her chocolate, and keeping it would mean she could try to sketch it out later. Before Halloween, of course, but later, and it also made her think about her own costume for Halloween. That was in her trunk too, like the chocolate would be eventually.

She'd smiled again as he'd at least said he'd hold onto her owls and stuff a little longer, although her eyes widened at what he'd actually said. "The rest of the chocolate? What else do you have in there?," she asked, hazel eyes going back to his bag, where her boxes had disappeared again. There's more chocolate than just what I knew about in there? It was almost more distracting to her than the truffles, but not quite enough. Annoying him about the other chocolate could wait until after their experiment was done. That was more important right now, since she really was curious exactly how many truffles she could eat before she seriously started bouncing off the walls. Hopefully they wouldn't hurt the train. She really didn't want to have to walk to Hogwarts, after all, if she broke the train with her hyperness. That didn't stop her from taking a few more and popping them into her mouth as he'd looked toward the woman she thought was their healer. Another giggle spilled out, half-muffled by chocolate, at his response, but she managed to remember to swallow again before speaking herself. "That'd be kinda awesome. Like we're famous or something," she replied. "But she seems really focused on that boy she's with. Maybe that's why she's here." She didn't think their healer was old enough to have a kid, but it could be like her and Jeremiah or something. She wasn't about to share the truffles with anyone else, other than Patrick, right now.
The fact that the only conversation they were having now basically consisted of not saying anything and just eating chocolate had actually somewhat amused Patrick, chocolate had it's only language and it didn't necessarily need words to express it. He took another couple pieces of coffee flavoured chocolate and ate them before just focusing on other things that had been more important rather just eating, even if it hadn't seemed like there was anything that was more important. "Something's missing from this honestly, I wonder if I could improve it someway; like adding some more coffee or maybe a lighter chocolate." He wasn't sure but it was honestly frustrating him that he couldn't have been able to figure it out when everything else had just been so simple about it but he would have been able to figure it out with more experiments, it was going to be definitely dealt with another time though. As soon as Kendall had started talking with actual words, he had simply nodded; rocking back on the heels of his sneakers just to keep him from wanting to run around the station since it would have attracted the wrong type of attention and he hadn't wanted to deal with that. "True. But, honestly you can only bend the rules so far before you're basically breaking them; there's a fine line between the two." It seemed like Captain Logic was starting to come out and he hadn't entirely had a problem with that seeing as there was the actual opportunity of being right about something when that was pretty much impossible usually. The more he had thought about that, the realization that she had asked him a question really went over his head until he noticed her still holding the piece of paper about his superhero. "You can, just give it back to me later since I'll just end up filing it with the rest of my writing stuff." Right now he hadn't needed it since the description was already in his story, just having the sketch was really going to make things complete since he would have had a really good visual of what his superhero had looked like.

Another chuckle escaped from his lips as she had asked the question of what other chocolate he had in his bag, of course she was going to be curious and he expected it too. "Umm, I've got five or six bars of the trail mix chocolate, four boxes of different kinds of chocolate and caramel filled chocolates, cherry infused chocolate and a few chocolate and candy covered apples." There was pretty much everything that someone could have wanted if they were a real fan of chocolate, but it had been everything that he liked and that was all that had mattered. He was basically carrying enough chocolate that could have lasted til the holidays but he had that feeling that wasn't going to be the case with his friend being around. Going back to the truffles now was the main thing and he hadn't wanted to divert any kind of attention away from their experiment when he really wanted to see how it was going to turn out. The healer being around still had a strange connection to the experiment but he really wanted to ask why the woman was at the train station. "It'd be completely awesome. But.. not in a good way. Though that makes sense, I wonder who the kid is." He figured that she had too but it wasn't important. Chocolate was important.

Before she'd been able to respond to any of the several conversations she'd been having with Patrick, Kendall had caught a signal from Jeremiah out of the corner of her eye. Time to get on the train, or they'd end up missing it and have to figure out another way to get to Hogwarts. The truffles wouldn't really help with that, so after she'd shoved his superhero description in her pocket, she'd momentarily grabbed Patrick's hand to drag him, and his bag full of chocolate, onto the train. Sending her brother a wave as she passed him, then glancing down to make sure Accio had gotten on with them. her cat was there, so Jeremiah mus'tve picked him up to get him there. She didn't think he could have jumped up onto the step by himself, since the kitty was still practically a baby. Not a year old yet, at least, or maybe barely a year old. Either way, she just hoped her pet would follow them, as she kept dragging her friend down the corridor until she found her trunk. At that point, she finally dropped his hand and grinned. "Sorry. But we needed to get on the train, right?," she said, eyeing the box of truffles again and taking another couple of them. "Maybe the coffee-flavored chocolate was missing something 'cause you didn't drink the coffee before. It tasted good to me, and you really can bend rules more than you think. Even a superhero should know that," she practically babbled, grabbing her trunk and dragging it back into the corridor. She wasn't about to let the topics die just because they'd started looking for somewhere to settle in to continue their experiment.

She hadn't missed his list of everything that he had in his bag besides her boxes, either. That topic had gotten filed away as she'd popped one of the next round of truffles into her mouth, however. She'd bring it up once she'd stowed her trunk again and asked for her stuff back again, and her hazel eyes had scanned the compartments they passed until she'd found one near the middle. Not far from one that had had a sign posted about fudge being inside, but she didn't investigate. They had their truffles to eat, and she hoped patrick had lots more. Maybe even another box, because she really wanted to test her hyperness. That was what made being in the middle better, because it gave more space if they really started bouncing off the walls. They could travel further than if they'd stayed near either end, since they could just bounce down the corridors. If that became necessary, and she ate the second truffle as she tried to lift her trunk into the luggage thingy. It was really heavy. She managed it somehow, though, her hair darkening slightly as she'd focused. Not quite all the way to black, and her pink streaks still survived until everything went back to the normal auburn, and she'd turned back to her friend. "I wonder if the healer came on the train with us. Well, that boy," she mused, reaching a hand out for even more truffles as she spoke. "I wonder if they're related."
