Her favorite lesson was the one with the Pygmy Puffs. She named hers Giovanni!
Pulling her trunk along, she sat down at the nearest bench, her trunk at her feet. Cardigan scanned the premises to see if there was anyone she knew, or recognized. She hadn't really ran into anyone she knew yet, sadly. Or not. The girl had just laid her eyes on, gulp, Ella. She scooted farther down the bench, so as to lower the chances of being seen by her. Not fun. At all. Rather terrifying actually. After a few minutes of just sitting in wandering thought, she decided now would be the best time to arrange her trunk, do it would be quite cleaner and more easier to find stuff. Opening her trunk, she began to rearrange everything, folding clothes, putting her textbooks into neat stacks, and repositioning her broomstick again and again. It really was important to her, and she didn't want it to get scratched up. That would be deathly horrible!
After losing Benjy somewhere between the barrier and here, Lily seemed kinda pleased with herself. Her semi-overprotective cousin had taken all of her bags except her rucksack and her broom, her now-warn-and-in-need-of-repair-broom. She had kept that with her because she was sure that it would end up in splinters if she kept it with her trunk and other belongings... and she knew that it had to last until Christmas.
She had planned pretty well for this trip, wearing her school skirt and blouse underneath her muggle jacket until she reached the platform where she swapped her muggle jacket for her robes. The redhead seemed to have some bounce in her step as she made her way down the platform in search of a bench to sit on until it was time to leave. She felt all important since she was already in her robes, unlike so many on the platform.
As she got closer to the end of the platform, the now third year spotted a bench that wasn't fully occupied so she headed over, her broom resting on one of her shoulders. The girl there seemed occupied at the moment... looking at who knows what.
"Oy! What are you looking at?" Lily said sliding onto the bench so that she sat next to the girl, accidentally knocking the other girl's broom onto the ground as she took her own broom off of her shoulder.
"Sorry 'bout that..." Quickly, the redhead picked up the other broom and did her best to return it to it's position from before.
