"If you hadn't been there..." He trailed off. "Anyway, even after that... it's been good having you around." And probably good for Aurora too...
"Oh! And I got you something, for getting head boy..." Krys reached into his pocket and pulled out a little notebook, handing it over. "Because I never taught you how to make flowers sing." It was the notebook Krys had kept since he was seventeen and it was filled with silly charms and... other things that he'd used to get women to go out with him. "Use it wisely." It was kind of weird to part with it... but he couldn't think of a better person to give it to. "And whatever you do, don't tell any women about it. They don't seem to like the idea." he added with a wink. Speaking of women... where on earth was his fiancé..?
Kennedy nodded. It had been good staying at Krys and Yvonne's -- besides the bad that happened -- because he was away from all the family drama. Mostly, away from his mother whom was staying with the Baltazars. There had been that nice reunion where they told each other how they missed one another, but then...she dropped the B bomb. His mother had a boyfriend. That stirred something inside him and since every time they spoke they ended up arguing. It was like they couldn't ever get along like they used to.
Anyway, he was glad to not have dealt with that any longer. Now the question was, where was his true home...if he had any?
Snapping out of his thoughts, Kennedy turned to Krys and accepted the notebook. No freaking way! He was getting the Guy Book. Kennedy grinned and nodded.
"I will," though he doubted he'd be needing it for any other girl/s. He had eyes for only just one. Still, this would come it handy to impress her.
"Thanks, Krys--,"
Just then his cousin walked through the barrier.
Yvonne smoothed her hands over her dress as she made her way to Krys. Finally, she had managed to convince her father to go and take her sisters to their corresponding stations. The man had been stubborn to leave Kennedy's side, but he had his girls to tend to as well, so Yvonne promised to see the new Head Boy off.
She slid her arm around Krys and kissed his cheek then turned to Kennedy. "What's that you're holding?" Because she had not seen him with it earlier. It's been a while since he's seen his son...since the idiot boy decided to run away. Classic. Just like him. This gave Phabian Wayne a certain amount of sick joy to know that his only son was a lot like him...even if the boy didn't know it. This is why his little brother has been trying to distant both of them, and he's failed. It was Kennedy that had succeed in staying away.
Phabian made his way through the barrier with Beverly in hand. As his son's sister she had the right to see him off as well as he. His son, Slytherin Head Boy, he had to see this.
"What a lovely reunion, isn't it?" he said, in a slow drawl and an insincere grin on his lips, as he approached the trio.
Now, where was the little red head?
