 Tower Patch
At the top of the north tower, in a niche some ways down from the Astronomy classroom the caretaker has cleared an area and set up a small garden patch. The patch consists of three neat rows of growing fruit and vegetable plants. There are a few benches faced looking out over the patch and also a small box of garden tools to aid those willing to yank out some weed or water the tomato plant.
Mrs Burbage has acquired an interest in gardening after her retirement which by no means can rival the expert knowledge of Professor Bentley. Headmistress Anastasia Bunbury was kind enough to allow her a little space to yank weeds or watch things grow when she isn’t studying the heavens or planning the next astronomy lesson. |
