Just when she made a promise that she would stop, or at least try to stop scaring the customers, she goes and does just that. And this man was not just any customer either. Oh no. He was an old man customer. Merlin only knew what she had just done to his heart! Jumping just a little as he jumped back, perhaps somewhat afraid that he was going to keel over right then, Destiny gave him an apologetic smile. Yes, she was sorry for almost killing the old man.
Especially an awesome old man. He had a pet wombat!
A pet wombat named.. "MILLIE!!" she yelled before clasping her dog toy filled hands over her mouth. "I mean.. sorry." Again. "I get a little excited." Just in case the guy didn't notice. "I never knew a dog and a wombat could get along! Well, I guess they could get along, but wombats usually keep to themselves and.." She was rambling. Rambling on and on about something the guy probably didn't even care about. All he wanted was help finding toys.
Clearing her throat, Destiny turned back towards the shelves. Not a small dog, good. She had picked out the right kind of toys then. "A spoiled dog is a well looked after dog." Or.. something like that. "Anyway, these toys," she turned back towards the man and held out her hands, "can be used for the wombat and the dog. But you're going to need special toys for the wombat. Since their teeth never stop growing, you'll need something she can chew on to keep them short. Like.. a stick.. or a piece of wood.." Did they even sell pieces of wood? She supposed he could go cut down a tree.
Merlin! This girl was nuttier than a fruit cake.
"It's quite alright. I'm used to it." His daughter was the same at times. He would just make sure to stay a safe distance away from her in case she got carried away in her excitement and did something crazy.
"Like I said the two have been together since Millie was a baby. Her mother got hit by a car see and little Millie was inside the pouch." She was lucky to be alive herself. Sebastian had found her and taken her home and raised her.
Oh yeah. Pepper was definitely well looked after, that's for sure. Sebastian took the toys out of the young womna's hands and looked them over. He hoped Pepper and Millie was going to appreciate this because this was definitely going to cost him a fortune.
He looked back at the woman and chuckled.
"Since she's going to be living at Hogwarts from now on, I think we can find her some sticks to chew on."
With his hands full, Sebastian there awkwardly, wondering whether to go to the counter or wait for the woman to take him there. Unless she planned on loading him up with more stuff.
