"Thanks," Ari said quietly as she brushed her clothes off, "Again I'm really sorry for bumping into you. I guess I wasn't paying much attention to where I was going..."
Ariella wasn't quiet sure if she was apologizing to the girl or to her grandmother, who didn't seem very happy about this whole encounter. She didn't look quiet as friendly as Ari's own grandmother but who was she to judge a book by it's cover.
"Um, I'm Ariella Day," She said awkwardly as she stuck out her hand. She figured she should at least introduce herself, try to makes things less...tense.
"You're welcome," the brunette gave her a smile.
"Naah, don't be. We all have our own clumsy moments." How many has it happened to her? LOADS. So how clumsy is she? VERY.
Why was her granddaughter so considerate when it was pretty evident the girl was just irresponsible and careless. An accident could've happened! Beatrice cleared her throat, "It was obvious she wasn't paying sufficient attention. It was only necessary that she apologize." And she ought to be correct, because she was older.
Ehh? To alleviate the burning fire, Beezus just curtly nodded at her Grandmother and mouthed a 'sorry' towards the girl's direction. She accepted the young girl's hand and shook it gently. "
Nice to meet you Ariella, I'm Beezus. Beezus Castell.. and," she glanced at the woman behind her who's eyebrows had started forming knots,
"...this is my Grandmother Beatrice."
Please, Grandma.. be nice.
Right after her granddaughter had introduced her, she instantly pounced on the conversation. If this girl was going to be a friend of Beezus, then she had to know if she was worthy. "Are you attending Hogwarts too? If so, which house?" she questioned.
