"Not my Grandmother's but the place I used to live with my Aunt." She thought that cleared that up and proceeded. "Dylan.." the cousin, of course "...there are times he's kind enough to feed me some muggle knowledge which obviously," the brunette poked her the bridge of her best friend's nose. " ..I devour gladly." She was a Ravenclaw after all. "Hmm? I'll be hoping for that to happen." Beezus said, respondin to Erin saying she would soon have a website of her own.

Seeing that the fellow eagle was done changing, she pulled her towards the lane. "Oh? I feel sorry for Elise." Knowing your mother is dead is very traumatic. That's why she's thankful that even though her Mom won't acknowledge her as her daughter, at least she was still alive. "How's she coping with the loss Erin?" Personally, she thought the whole running away thing wasn't a such a great idea. However, given the reasons, Elise didn't really ran away. She only needed a place to stay. "It's very nice of you to let her stay at your place. Lest she won't feel so alone." Beezus nodded. That's why she loved Erin. The girl won't turn a friend down.

Oh? The problem? Between her and Indy? An expression that looked somewhat like a grimace and frustration filled her face as she eyed the shrunken heads on the large narrow metal tray where it was neatly arranged on. "Actually..." hmmm. What exactly was the best way to say it? "..she and......her boyfriend broke up, I knew he was planning on breaking up with her. He told me and...then, Indy got mad at me because I didn't tell her that I knew." SHRUG. It was pretty complicated, yes.

By the time Erin began the whole family talk, Beezus had already took a shrunken head into her hands. It emitted some creepy muffled sounds that made her wince. Ugh, disgusting face but at the same time, interesting. Albeit her eyes pierced the eyes of the head she was holding with both intensity and curiosity, she was still listening attentively to what her best friend was saying. Then came that phrase, I am adopted.

O____________________O

She.Was. Astounded. And she was certain it showed on her face. Her mouth hang open in disbelief and absently, she let go of the shrunken head on her hand, allowing it to fall on the floor with a loud thud which seemed to alleviate the shock. It started to babble syllables she couldn't understand so she picked it up with her mind still obscured by what her best friend has just revealed. She stared at her for a moment, trying to make out if she was lying or not. She wasn't. "Really? Y-you're not kidding?" Right now, that was all she could muster to blurt out.
Okay, that seemed to be a little mixed up on her mind. What was actually happening to Beezus? Last time she talked to her about this, well that was like two years ago - was it? - they were discussing about how to talk to each other in a distance. Beezus suggested sending letters by owl but Erin, being a muggle witch, she insisted on using the phone. And she couldn't really remember if Beezus agreed. The only thing she remember was that, they were happy during that summer of 2076 at Beezus place with her Aunt and her cousin. Used to? Woah! Did Beezus just mentioned the words used to? Many things happened and they missed a lot of each other's lives. The nose poking, all forgotten of course. "What do you mean by used to? You're not in your Aunt's place anymore?" It's now her time to speak up and Erin wanted every bit of information about her new life, new home and new housemates too.

Before se knew it, Beezus was pulling Erin towards the lane. They were excited about this thing. And on to the talk about Elise. "I feel sorry for her too. And I feel sorry for her that she needed to go neck to neck with my Mum the moment we step foot in our house." Well, the new house of course. Truthfully, it was all Erin's mistake. She could inform her parents about a new addition to her summer but she didn't. Not that she purposely did it, he mind's just a little blown up that time. "At the end of the day, she had a place to stay."

Then came the sensitive part of the conversation about her misunderstanding with Indy. These things. These things weren't a problem last time she talk to Beezus. Boys. Boys are eewy before, but now boys are fun. Relationships cannot be ignored anymore. Relationships between boys and girls is a norm to teenage students like them. Guess, they both aren't an exception? And then Erin was dumbstruck by her next statement. Indy and her boyfriend broke up? The part that Erin got herself more then surprised was the fact that Beezus was relaying every bit of the details to her. She doesn't even know any of the two. "So, why didn't you told her beforehand?" She's got an owl, right? She could write Indy or meet up with her somewhere. But maybe, Beezus has some good explanations. Probably, Indy just went a little too exaggerated on her reactions towards Beezus message? "And why would her boyfriend tell you that he wanted to break up with your bestfriend when she's your bestfriend?" It's complicated. And are they that close? The boyfriend and Beezus?

Seeing Beezus getting one shrunken head from the narrow metal tray, Erin did so. She would go next after her bestfriend. But when Erin finally blurted out what really happened to her life, the climax of course, Beezus was super shocked to even drop the shrunken head in her hand, ready to bowl. of course, being a shrunken head itself, he/she/it went on talk rapidly like the sound of people talking quickly and in a way that is difficult or impossible to understand. Instead of giving her focus to the creature, she averted her attention to Beezus and waited for her to open her mouth and speak up. Her lips moved after a few seconds of looking at them, "I'm not kidding, Bee," she pouted. The memories of that time seemed to linger on her mind once more. And it wasn't too good of a memory.
