It seemed his broom was more worth her attention then him, the still as of yet unnamed girl playing close watch on the item as she continued her line of question. "Not quite, I've had it for about eight months now." It just looked new cause he hadn't put it into harms way and took care of it. Selina would have yelled at him if he hadn't thought it wasn't as if he needed the proding. "Aye...a few practices and one match." And flying here and there when he had the time outside of classes and prefecting duties. But nothing too rough to speak of.
"I can get through the barrier," Gideon remarked, eyeing her as if she was daring him. "I was just trying to be helpful and watch out for those who needed assistance." Like yourself he almost added but he opted to keep that part quiet.
