It had been a month since he had seen her last and that was when she blow up on Ella, and Oakey launched a boxing glove at her face. Her black-eye was very visible still, Damn can she hold a grudge Oakey thought to himself.

John was too worried about Sophie's behaviour to notice that one of her bags had actually fallen off the cart and kept on walking, looking at his daughter from the corner of his eye. Merlin, if there was some kind of potion or spell to make things go back to normal...

He did hear someone shouting 'Hey', but didn't turn around. First, they were in a public place, so people shouting around was expected; second, he was too concerned to pay attention to his surroundings at the moment.

Frowning, Sophie kept walking close to her father, Brady cuddled in her arms and eyes looking straight ahead. The badger was almost marching or something. If one knew Sophie well, they would expect her to be skipping, not marching!

Deeper frown. Sophie stoped on her tracks and turned around to face him. The one that had punched her. Well, sort of. But still. Those were his intentions, right? To hurt her!

Without replying to him, the girl eyed her bag that was currently being levitated by the strange man. "Thank you." She mumbled as she got a hold of her bag. She handed her bunny rabbit to her dad, opened the bag she had now placed on the floor and started looking for something.

When his daughter suddenly stopped, John's heart jumped and he also stopped at once. Whatever had happened now?? He looked over his shoulder before turning around.

The man held Brady in his hand and watched as Sophie looked for something in her bag. He looked up at the boy, then looked at the man that had levitated his daughter's bag. He had a very confused expression on his face, but didn't forget his manners.

"Thank you." He said to the man, letting go of the cart and holding his hand out. "I'm John Campbell." The young boy knew his girl already, so no need to introduce her. He looked down again to watch as she pulled something out of her bag.

Sophie stared at Oakey some more as she held the object with her left hand and her bag hung from her right hand. After a few seconds of awkward silence, she stepped forward and held it out for him to get it.
